Email Settings

This section contains email configuration settings for messages sent from the account.

Sender Name

Enter the name that recipients will see as the sender of the emails. Only the name should be entered, without the address.

Reply-To Address

The reply-to address consists of two parts: the name and the domain. The name should be written in Latin characters and may include letters, numbers, periods, and hyphens. If using the DiMaker technical domain for mailing, the specified name must be available.

You can use any domain as the reply-to address. To add a domain, go to the "My Domains" tab.

It is not possible to use reply-to addresses from free email services, like Gmail.com.

Logo

Adding a logo to the email improves recognition and deliverability, as recipients can immediately identify the sender.

Add a "Share with Friends" Block

Social media and messenger buttons will be added below the main text in the email, allowing recipients to easily share a link to your site. The first file in the email will be used as the publication cover image.

Email Template Design

The email template design is an HTML code that defines the appearance of your emails. The email's content should be created in the "Emails" > "Email Templates" section. You can paste HTML code into this field if you already have a pre-made template created in a specialized email design program. It is not recommended to manually modify the design template. The template includes variables like %LOGO (logo) and %TEXT (email body content), which you can use within the inserted template.

My Domains

This tab contains the domains connected to your account for use as the reply-to address. When sending emails, the domain or associated email system resources are not used. The domain is simply specified as the reply-to address. The emails are sent using DiMaker's resources.

To add a domain, click the appropriate button.

In the "Domain" field, specify a second-level domain (without www or @), such as site.com. You can add domains from any zone, such as .ru, .com, .рф, etc., provided you have access via the registrar's or hosting provider's dashboard. You cannot add domains like .gmail.com, mail.ru, blogspot.com, or tilda.ru.

Once the domain is added, instructions for adding two DNS records will appear. The page provides the record name, type, and value.

DKIM. Record type: TXT. In the "Name" field, enter the value specified in "Hostname." Some providers require the full name (including the primary domain), while others only require the subdomain. Refer to your registrar's documentation to determine the correct format for entering the name. Copy the record value exactly as indicated in the instructions.

Return-Path. Record type: CNAME. Similarly, enter the value specified in "Hostname" in the "Name" field, following the guidelines noted above. Copy the value exactly into the "Value" field.

If everything is done correctly, the domain will be connected for mailing within 15-30 minutes. If the DKIM record is verified but the Return-Path is not, adding a period at the end of the record value often helps. In rare cases, it may take up to 48 hours for records to update with the registrar or hosting provider. If the domain is not connected after an hour, contact support via chat. They can help verify the settings.

Once connected, the domain can be selected as a reply-to address in the "Reply-To Address" section. The mailbox (the name before @) can be anything. For instance, you can set it to a valid mailbox if replies are needed, or use a standard "no-reply" mailbox if no responses are necessary.

Senders

One account can have multiple senders.

A sender is a combination of sender name, reply-to address, logo, and design template settings.

In the email template section, you need to select which sender to associate with that template. Each email template is always linked to one specific sender.

When creating files in the "Create Files" window, under the "Email Template" field, templates will appear with the sender specified for that template.

Thus, if needed, a single account can have multiple reply-to addresses for email campaigns.
