Inserting a Line Break

You can insert a line break in a cell using two methods:

Manually

To insert a line break, type a tilde (~) at the desired position. When the file is created or previewed, this character will be replaced with a line break. If you need to insert line breaks in all cells of a column, you’ll need to manually add the tilde symbol or use the Wordform feature.

Automatic Line Break Insertion

If you want to apply line breaks to all cells in a column based on a certain rule, you can use Wordform. It includes two functionalities—“Split Name into Components” or “Split String into Parts.” The first function allows splitting a cell containing a name (Cyrillic is supported) into components and formatting it, for example, with a line break after the last name. The second function enables splitting a cell into parts using a specific character (for example, a space or a comma) and formatting it with a line break after the first word.
