Import from Google Sheets
You can import a table into DiMaker directly from Google Sheets. The table must be on the first sheet. Start by clicking on "Share Settings" in Google Sheets.
The "Share Settings" button in Google Sheets
In the pop-up window, select "Anyone with the link" and copy the link using the corresponding button.

Next, in DiMaker, go to the toolbar and click "Load from Google Sheets."
The "Load from Google Sheets" button
Paste the copied Google Sheets link into the input field.
Import window for Google Sheets
The toggle "Load data from Google Sheets at startup" functions as follows:
- If enabled: Every time the table in DiMaker is opened, data will be automatically reloaded from Google Sheets. This means any changes made directly in the table will be lost after reopening, as the data will be refreshed from Google Sheets. Therefore, in this mode, all changes should be made in Google Sheets only.
- If disabled: The data will be loaded once. After that, you can edit and work with the table in DiMaker. All changes will be saved automatically. If you need to reload the data from Google Sheets, you can do so from the same window (the link will be saved).
If access to the Google Sheet has been granted and the correct link is provided, the data from the first sheet of the file will be imported into the table.
The next step is to assign a table column to a variable in the document. To do this, select the desired column and use either the toolbar or the context menu to click "Select Variable."
Selecting a variable after file upload
Once a variable is assigned, the column will be available for editing and use in the generated files. The variable mapping will be saved, so you won’t need to assign variables again during the next import.
You can also automate file creation based on Google Sheets data using the corresponding integration.
