Copying from Another Spreadsheet

You can import data into a DiMaker table in various ways. The simplest method is to select the entire spreadsheet or the desired column in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet editor you use. Then, copy the data using a keyboard shortcut or the context menu.

Copying data from the source table

In DiMaker, select the appropriate cell. If you are pasting an entire table, select the top-left cell. If you're copying a column, select the first cell in that column. Next, open the context menu by right-clicking and select "Paste."

Pasting into a DiMaker table

If the source table contains more rows than the DiMaker table, additional rows will be automatically added.

Table populated in DiMaker

You can arrange the columns in your source table to match the column order in the DiMaker table. If this isn't possible, you can copy individual columns or adjust the assigned variables for each column after pasting.

To do so, select the relevant column, then either use the context menu or the toolbar to click "Assign Variable."

Assigning a variable

In the pop-up window, choose "Not selected." Then, assign the desired variable to the relevant column in the DiMaker table, and another variable to the respective column in the source table as needed.
