Data Editing

PDF or JPG files created in Drive also save all the variables used to create the files and the source document. Therefore, if necessary, you can change both the values of the variables and edit the source document. However, changes will only apply to the selected file.

Data Editing

To change data, you need to select the file and choose "Edit data" from the context menu or selection menu.

File context menu fragment with "Edit data" item.

A window will open with all the variables that were saved with the file - each variable in a separate input field.

File data editing window.

You can change any data and recreate the file.

If there are rules in Wordform, they can be applied if the corresponding switch is set in the window. Rules can be disabled if they do not produce a correct result. In this case, you must manually enter the data in the desired format, disable the application of the rules, and recreate the file.

A fee according to the tariffs is charged for recreating the file.

If there are functions in the variables, you can leave the values of these functions as they are or specify new ones. If you delete the value of these functions, the function will be executed again when the file is recreated.

The file ID does not change after recreating the file. Therefore, the short link to the file remains the same. At the same time, the status of the email delivery switches to "Not sent".

The file will not be automatically sent by email after creation.

To send a file by email, you need to select it and choose "Send by email" from the context menu or selection menu.

"Send by email" item in the context menu.

Sending to another email address

If you only need to send the file to another address (or send the file again) and leave the data unchanged, then in the same window you should select the "Send to another email" tab.

Window for sending the file to another email address.

In the first field, you need to specify the new email address to which the file should be sent, and in the second field, the template emails.

You can choose any current template or leave the one that was specified when the file was created.

If the "Do not send file" option was selected in the "Template emails" field during the initial file creation, then you must manually specify the template so that the file is still sent. Otherwise, the email address will be saved, but the email with the file will not be sent.
