Activity History
In Drive, every action performed on a file or folder is saved in the activity history. This history is stored permanently, and even after files are deleted, you can view all actions within the Drive.
To view the activity history, select "Activity History" in the Drive menu.
Activity History in Drive
The activity history includes the following actions:
- File or folder creation
- File or folder renaming
- File or folder moving
- File or folder deletion
- File editing
- File or folder removal from Trash
- Emptying Trash
In the history, you can see the date and time of an action, along with its source. Many history entries are interactive. For example, clicking on a folder's name will open that folder in Drive, and clicking on a file will open the file itself.
The activity history only displays actions performed in Drive. Therefore, actions like creating or deleting documents or events are not shown. However, if a file is generated in the Events section and added to Drive, this action will be reflected in the history.
